Spectacular Views

From the Coach House spectacular views can be enjoyed. Weather permitting, the Pennines can be seen on the far horizon, with the cities of Chester and Liverpool clearly visible in the middle distance. Blackpool tower and beyond is visible on clear days from the nearby hillfort Moel y Gaer.

The view encompasses the Wirral, and the Dee and Mersey Estuaries. Binoculars are recommended especially for viewing the extremely prolific bird life.

The view from the Coach House is spectacular and a gives tremendous panoramic display on a clear day!

History of the Coach HOuse

The Coach House, built in the 1880's, was originally used to stable the Vicar's coach and horses. The Vicarage was sold out of the Church Estates in the early 1970's. In 1992 the building was converted and modernised after half a century of neglect.
